ONE DAY POP-UP FOOD BANK #2

FOOD COLLECTION BY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Following the successful Pop-up Food Bank in Dec 2022, Waltham Forest Islamic Association and Waltham Forest Council are hosting another one-day Pop-up Food Bank to help local residents during these challenging times.

The aim of the Pop-up Food Bank is to unite the whole borough to ensure those affected the most by the cost of living crisis, have food during the half term school holiday period.

We are asking local residents and businesses to drop off food and products listed on the attached poster, to the venue in Grove Road – Central Walthamstow.

On the same day, if you need food please come and collect what you need from the same venue – no questions asked.

This is open to all faiths and none. Anyone and everyone who requires help is welcome including refugees.

How to help?

1- Donate long life food or products – check poster for details.

2- Donate money online (remember to Gift Aid where possible) – we will use the funds to buy food wholesale on your behalf. Please donate early to allow time for delivery.

3- Share the poster and this page widely with your family & friends and across social media.
