Dearest Family of Hussain Chaudhry Marhoom

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

WFIA and our whole community is absolutely distraught at the pain you are going through. Our hearts are broken and shattered, just like yours.

The Holy Messenger صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم is famously quoted in Sunan al-Tirmidhī as having said “ …. whoever is killed protecting his family is a martyr”. In protecting his mother and brother, his beloved family, Hussain joined the ranks of the honoured martyrs.

And like his famous namesake, the great Imam Hussain عليه السلام, Hussain’s name will also live on with all the blessed Sadaqah Jariah being offered in his name.

While the passing of Hussain brings enormous pain, we pray his elevation as a martyr brings some solace and peace. Your family also has the honour of being a martyr’s family. الله أكبر

Hussain was not just a child of your family or the Muslim community. The whole of Waltham Forest has lost a beautiful young man who passed at home protecting his family.
