Masjid Re-opens for Jumu’ah Prayers

Suspended for nearly 4 months due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Alhamdulillah, the masjid will re-open for public Jumu’ah prayers from tomorrow.

However, the safety of the community is at the forefront of our minds. Government restrictions and the need to help the NHS Track & Trace teams means:

  • We have to implement social distancing and safety measures which will significantly limit capacity.
  • We also need to know everyone who enters the masjid so we can help the authorities if needed to trace people should there be an outbreak.

We have therefore implemented a booking system – you must book a place for Jumu’ah prayers here: www.wfia.org.uk/jumuah.

Please follow the directions of the Masjid Marshals, who as volunteers are doing their utmost to allow you to pray again at the masjid.

You must also follow all guidelines, some listed on the poster here and others inside the masjid.

We look forward to welcoming you once again, and thank Allah سبحانه و تعالى for his blessing in allowing us to serve & pray in his house again.
