Working collectively with other Waltham Forest mosques, led by WFCOM, the Syria Food Collection Appeal ended extremely successfully.

As last year, WFIA was extremely honoured to host the food collection at our WFIA Ghousia Hall Grove Road.

In these times of economic hardship, the community with a huge heart still donated food and supplies that filled THREE gigantic 40ft containers – SubhanAllah.

The containers have been despatched and now in the hands of Muslims in Need charity to ensure they reach those that need these vital supplies so desparately in Syria, In Sha Allah.

May Allah Azzawajal accept and reward immensely everyone’s efforts, including the community who donated so generously, volunteers who worked tirelessly during Ramadan, and organisers for arranging another successful collection.
