1. Sultan Abdul Hamid & A Dream Of The Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم (Courtesy TRT)

It is no surprise this video is so popular with our viewers. In fact it is so popular, it accounts for 52% of all views on our entire channel. To put it another way, this video alone has been watched more times than all our other videos put together. SubhanAllah. Why? Well, simply because love of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم is engrained in our DNA. Dreaming of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم is something we all yearn to experience. The video beautifully captures both our love and yearning. We know people have watched this video in tears, and watch it over and over. We have too. If by any chance you haven’t yet seen this video, watch it right now and then share it with everyone you know.

2. Qasida Burdah Nasheed English Version – Hafiz Mohammad Asad Ali

To the lovers of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم, the world famous Qasida Burdah is soothing to the heart. With most versions in Arabic and/or Urdu, there is demand for an English version. Step-up Hafiz Asad Ali who delivers a beautiful version in English. Hafiz Asad Ali is a popular young scholar at WFIA. He features in five of the top ten videos on our channel.

3. Ertugrul & The Ottoman Empire l Full Lecture l Shaykh Burhaan Khandia

The Turkish Resurrection Ertugrul series has taken the world by storm over the past few years. Due to popular demand, WFIA held an entire New Years Eve programme 2019 on the real-life & times of Ertugrul – father of Osman who founded the Ottoman Empire. This lecture by the very popular Shaykh Burhan, another one of our fabulous young visiting scholars, was from the New Year’s Eve event.

4. You Watch Ertugrul Too?! l FUNNY l Hafiz Mohammed Asad Ali

Another popular video from Hafiz Asad Ali, again from the same Ertugrul New Year’s Eve event. This was a funny from Hafiz Asad continues to be watched much to our pleasant surprise.

5. Punish A Muslim Day Response (Visit A Muslim Day Event 03.04.18)

On to a very serious matter, this video was made Br Irfan Raja & Hafiz Asad Ali in response to vile letters that encouraged punishment attacks on Muslims. Thankfully the perpetrator was caught and received a prison sentence. We sincerely hope he reflects in prison on the very real hurt and distress these letters brought to the Muslim community throughout the country.

6. Naat l Balaghal Ulaa Bi-Kamalihi (Urdu) – Hafiz Mohammad Asad Ali

Hafiz Asad Ali delivers another beautiful classic naat, this time in Urdu, an ode to the Holy Messenger صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم. The main verses with English translation are:

Balaghal ‘ula bi kamalihi (He attained exaltation by his perfection)
Kashafadujja bi jamalihi (He dispelled darkness by his beauty)

Hasanat jami’u hisalihi (Beautiful are all his qualities)
Sallu ‘alayhi wa Aalihi (Benediction be on him and on his family)

7. His Line Was Worth £400 A Day – Hafiz Mohammed Asad Ali

One of reasons why Hafiz Asad Ali is so popular is because he talks to the youth in their language, and about their day to day issues. This video is hard-hitting about the haram earnings or vices (drugs / alcohol ….. avoid these – please just avoid these) and how parents will be questioned in the hereafter for their ‘flock’. Hafiz Asad Ali also offers a solution – watch the short video to find out what it is.

8. What Is Success? – Syed Hussaini Miah Ashraf

Everyone wants success, but what is success? The excellent Syed Hussaini Miah Ashraf explains what success is, in this popular brief video.

9. Ya Imam ar-Rusli Ya Sanadi l Arabic Nasheed l Mikhaael Mala

The very cool young nasheed artist Michaael Mala, breaks into top ten on his first visit to WFIA. This is another popular video from the 2019 New Year’s Eve programme. This time it is an Arabic Nasheed that is popular which shows the diverse experiences our visitors love. Above all this again shows the love our audience has for the Holy Messenger صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم. The main verses are:

Ya Imam ar-rusli ya sanadi, anta babuLlahi mu’tamadi
Fa bi dunyaya wa aakhirati ya Rasula Llah khudh biyadi

O leader of all Prophets, o you my Support. You are the door to Allah, the one on whom I rely.
In this my dunya and in my afterlife, O Messenger of Allah, take me by my hand.

10. Zameen Maili Nahi Hoti (Urdu Nasheed) – Brother Abdullah

Brother Abdullah is another very popular nasheed artist at WFIA. His repertoire includes English nasheeds, but this popular beautiful naat is in Urdu. This is a very famous, well known and well loved naat among our Urdu speaking elders but it is no surprise to see it popular with our younger audience too. The main verses are:

Zameen maili nahi hoti, zaman maila nahi hota
Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم kay gulamon ka kafan maila nahi hota.

The earth doesn’t get stained/soiled, time (or destiny) doesn’t get stained/soiled.

The shroud of the servant of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم doesn’t get stained/soil.

The literal English translation doesn’t do justice to the metaphorical meaning, which is that the love of the Holy Messenger صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم will protect you in the grave.
