Shimmering Light Mawlid is a beautiful book of poems praising the Holy Messenger ﷺ, written by Shaykh Al-Habib Umar bin Hafidh.

It is traditionally recited in remembrance gatherings (Majlis) around the world in the Tarim Hadramaut (Yemen) style.

Shaykh Amin Abdi Rahman Mohamed, one of our popular visiting Imams and founder the Meadows of Paradise organisation, has received ijazah directly from Shaykh Al-Habib Umar bin Hafidh for this Shimmering Light Mawlid programme.

This week, we focus on repentance and seeking forgiveness during the 10 holy days of Dhul Hijjah.
