With deep sorrow and submission to the will of Allah Azzawajal, WFIA Jamia Masjid will host the Janazah of our spiritual guide, Mufakkir-e-Islam, Dr. Syed Abdul Qadir Shah Sahib Jilani قُدِّسَ سِرُّهُ العَزِيز, who left this temporary world yesterday, Saturday, 18 October 2025 | 25 Rabi al-Akhir 1447 AH.

He was The Thinker of Islam, a reviver of knowledge and spirituality in our age, a torchbearer of the Ahl al-Bayt’s (the noble family) legacy, and a source of mercy and guidance for all who sat in his company.

May Allah Azzawajal, the Most Merciful, elevate his rank among the righteous, illuminate his resting place, and grant patience and solace to all who mourn his loss.

His light will continue to shine through the hearts he inspired and the paths he illuminated.
